Your third option is to create a second EFI, and either boot to that one or point an option from the first to the second, but.eh. After all, you backed up everything before starting to play with your partition table, right? If this sounds complicated, take it from someone who has successfully moved Windows to expand the EFI partition: it is BY FAR easier than the alternative. Once Windows is up and running, install Solus normally. You'll basically have to drop out to the command line before installing Windows, manually create a larger EFI at 500 MB or whatever, then reboot and let the Windows installer take over, leaving space for Solus. If you go the reformat route (my recommendation) you'll have to force Windows to create a bigger EFI. ![]() ![]() Moving or resing an EFI partition is.dicey, to say the least - it's not so much the EFI as it is the other stuff next to it. ![]()
